Electronic Evidence Workbook 2022
Electronic Evidence Workbook 2022 Used in Craig Ball's three credit E-Discovery and Digital Evidence course at the University of Texas Law School, UT Computer Science School and UT School of Information. From the author: "The chapters on processing are extensively revamped. I’m hell bent on making encoding understandable, and I’ve incorporated the new Processing Glossary I wrote for the EDRM. Glossaries are no one’s idea of light reading, but I hope this one proves a handy reference as the students cram for the five quizzes and final exam they’ll face." "Recognizing that a crucial component of competence in electronic discovery is mastering the arcane argot of legaltech, I’ve added Vital Vocabulary lists throughout, concluded chapters with Key Takeaway callouts and, for the first time, broken the Workbook into volumes such that this release covers just the first eight classes, almost entirely Information Technology." "Come Spring Break in mid-March, I’ll release the revamped omnibus volume adding new practical exercises in Search, Processing, Production, Review and Meet & Confer and introducing new tools. Because university students use Mac machines more than Windows PCs, the exercises ahead employ Cloud applications so as to be wholly platform-independent. The second half of the course folds in more case law to the relief of law students and chagrin of CS and IS students. The non-law students do a great job on the law but approach it with trepidation; the law students kiss the terra firma of case law like white-knuckled passengers off a turbulent flight." "Though written for grad students, the Workbook is also written for you, Dear Reader. If you’ve longed to learn more about information technology and e-discovery but never knew quite where or how to start, perhaps the 2022 Workbook is your gateway. The law students at UT Austin pay almost $60,000 per year for their educations; ...

Euler Math Toolbox v2020-07-08
Euler Math Toolbox v2020-07-08 This is the homepage of Euler Math Toolbox (EMT), a powerful math program combining numerical and symbolic tools (using the computer algebra system Maxima) in one free and open source package. Its idea is similar to Matlab, but the syntax is not exactly compatible. The projected was started in 1987 by Rene Grothmann, professor of mathematics in Eichstätt, Germany. The main design goal of Euler Math Toolbox is to provide a clean and simple surface that gives easy access to powerful tools. Euler Math Toolbox is free to use for anyone without costs or loyalties under the GPL license. It is also an open source program, hosted on SourceForge and supports the idea of open software and libraries. The program runs on Windows 7, 8 or 10, 32-bit or 64-bit. The most recent version supports only Windows 8 or above with 64-bit, and the most recent Ubuntu through the stable Wine emulator. EMT is for you if you are looking for a mighty, easy to use and free substitute for Matlab, you need to do symbolic algebra or numerical mathematics in schools or the universities, you are a student or a teacher and want to demonstrate mathematics, you want to make good looking mathematical illustrations or even photo realistic scenes, you have a need to present mathematics on web pages. Download the PDF manual here. This is the notebook interface of EMT. It contains a menu, commands, comments to each command with markdown syntax, links and Latex formulas, plots, other images, and a status bar for immediate help to a function. The command line highlights brackets during the input. The following is the graphics window. This window can also be incorporated into the ...

ScionPC v8.3
ScionPC v8.3 Genealogical Management System ScionPC is free, portable, fully-featured, genealogy software with a modern, easy-to-use interface, ideal for both the novice and the experienced genealogist. Its focus is on the simple entry and clear display of family information. Databases from other family tree programs can be imported into ScionPC using its GEDCOM import facility. Just export your data from your old program as a GEDCOM file and then import that file into ScionPC - it's that easy. ScionPC uses a fully-documented, "open" XML database file format - don't be locked into a proprietary file system. The program has been written in a totally secular manner, has no checking on sex (to allow for "unconventional" relationships), and has no naming constraints (to allow for adopted children). The partners of a family group (or marriage/union) are referred to as "Prime" and "Partner" rather than "Husband & Wife" or "Father & Mother". Either partner can be the Prime. Free-form notes and sources can be created and viewed, and any files may be attached to any person or family. Other features include user-defined facts, dynamic on-screen ancestor and descendant charts, extensive on-line help, and powerful searching and filtering. ScionPC will run happily from a USB flash-drive as a "portable" application, and will leave no traces behind on any host computer. Take ScionPC and your database with you wherever you go. ScionPC has no limitations, no advertising, no "nagging", no registration required, no messing with your Windows Registry, and no spyware or other anti-social "nasties". And remember it's completely free! ScionPC employs a simple 3-step model... 1 Add people to the database (creating Personal Details Pages) 2 Join couples to create family groups (creating Family Details Pages) 3 Add children to the family groups (using Family Details Pages) Step 1: The Personal Details Page is used to enter and/or edit details about the people ...

Trend Micro Rescue Disk 3.0.0.1023
Trend Micro Rescue Disk 3.0.0.1023 Trend Micro Rescue Disk allows you to use a CD, DVD, or USB drive to examine your computer without launching Microsoft Windows. It finds and removes persistent or difficult-to-clean security threats that can lurk deep within your operating system. Rescue Disk does not need to load potentially-infected system files into memory before trying to remove them. It can scan hidden files, system drivers, and the Master Boot Record (MBR) of your computer’s hard drive without disturbing the operating system. Getting Started Click Download to begin. If prompted, click Save or Save As, and save the file on your computer’s desktop. While the installer downloads, prepare one of the following: Blank CD or DVD (do not use a rewritable disc) Empty USB Drive (128MB or larger) NOTE: The drive will be reformatted before creating Rescue Disk, and anything already on the USB drive will be lost. Please back up any important files before using a USB drive for Trend Micro Rescue Disk. When you have finished downloading the file, double-click the Trend Micro Rescue Disk icon to start the installer. To launch your computer from a CD or DVD, you must set the BIOS to boot from a different device. While the exact procedure differs from computer to computer, the overall process is usually like this: Insert the disc or USB drive into the computer. Restart the computer. When the computer powers up again, look for a BIOS setup message, which often looks like “Press [KEY] to run ...
